The Chakra Blossom Massage (tm) is a massage of the head neck and back, with the use of specially blended Essential oils, and energy work.The session begins with a deep massage to the posterior and lateral muscles of the neck, and scalp allowing an increase of circulation and relaxation. The massage continues as a deep tissue massage to the intrinsic muscles of the back especially those of the spine from the tailbone up to the back of the head.
Essential Oils are applied that are formulated to unblock and balance the body's energy centers (also known as Chakras). Each Chakra receives a different Essential Oil specifically designed for that Chakra.
As the oils are absorbed we begin a Reiki treatment (a widely known form of energy healing) to the posterior Chakras. We then apply Chakra oils to the anterior Chakras and continue with the Reiki treatment.
The session ends with a Shirodhara which is a rhythmic dropping of warmed sesame oil onto the third eye.
